I coach 15 head coaches from seven team sports in five different countries.

Here’s what to expect when working with me:

  • Weekly one-on-one meetings plus daily support via WhatsApp.

  • Frequent on-site visits to observe you in your coaching environment.

  • Fully customized programming based on your coaching context.

  • A non-judgmental peer relationship with a head coach who understands the nuance of the job.

  • Sounding board to add perspective to key decisions and difficult situations.

  • Full-time researcher to bring innovative coaching ideas to you.

  • Exclusivity within your league — I won’t work with your competition.

My Guiding Principles

#1 — Competitive & Respectful

My personal principles are to compete and be respectful. My mission is "To prepare others to be capable of a championship performance."

#2 — You already have what you need to succeed

I believe everything you need to be great is already within you. It’s my job to draw it out and help you harness it for when you need it most.

#3 — Coaches are performers, too

You’re hired for your brain, which means protecting your mental resources is crucial to increasing your performance and wellbeing.

#4 — Context is everything

Cookie cutter ideas don’t work in head coaching. You need solutions that are personalized and contextualized to you and your environment.

#5 — Develop your primary coaching skills

Any time you coach, you’re utilizing your awareness, communication, and decision making skills. These skills can all be refined and upgraded.

#6 — The goal is to coach uninhibited

Just as we want our players to play instinctively, I want you to be able to coach instinctively. Coaching free allows you to make the most of your talent.

#7 — Burnout is unacceptable

I’m unwilling to accept the narrative that coaches need to grind endlessly in order to have ultimate success. Work hard: yes. But we must be smart, too.
